Stop by the Office of Student Life before Thursday May 25, 2017 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. 
 
Note: The office of Student Life will be closed Friday May 26, 2017 for the Commencement Ceremony.

Hands on Hats:  There will be two opportunities for graduates to participate with family members on this special activity. Graduates and their children will be able to decorate their graduation caps to raise awareness for Student Parents and the important role they play for their children. Please make some time and join us for either time of event scheduled for : Wednesday, May 17 or Thursday, May 18, 3:30- 6:00 pm, in the Office of Student Life, Student Center, C-140.
 
 
Commencement Ceremony: Friday, May 26, 2017.
 
Venue: Rabobank Stadium, Salinas Sports Complex; Address: 1034 N. Main Street, Salinas, CA 93906. North Main Entrance Parking Lot. No parking Permits Required.
 
Time:   Commencement will start proptly at 6:00 pm; ALL Graduates must be in line by 5:30 pm (Doors will open at 4:30 pm for Graduates only), and 5:00 pm for Guests.
 
Commencement Orientation Meeting: May 10, 2017 5:00 pm, and May 11, 2017 11:00 am or 3:00 pm Steinbeck Hall, Student Center.
 
 
WARNING:  Due to venue policy: absolutly no stiletto heels will be allowed. Please wear appropiate shoes.
 
Graduates Instructions

Doors will open for Graduates at 4:30pm. Please direct yourself to the Graduates Check-In area. Our volunteers will guide you to the line-up area. Line up will be categorized by degree. For special accomodations, contact the Office of Student Life (831-755-6734. ALL graduates must be lined up by 5:30pm. 
Note: Graduates are required to stay for the entire Graduation Ceremony. Please remain seated in consideration of your fellow graduates. Restrooms are located in the North End of the Stadium.

Visit our Admissions and Records Office to follow up on your Petition to Graduate Status.

Cap and Gowns are required for participation on Commencement Ceremony. Contact our Hartnell Bookstore for more information on purchasing your cap, gown, and tassle. Caps' decorations must be flat and tasteful.

Guests

Doors will open at 5:00pm for all Guests. No Balloons, conffetti or silly string are allowed in the stands or turf.  This is an evening event. Please wear warm clothing.

Translation/interpretation

Sign Language and Spanish Interpretation will be provided.

 

Tickets

Tickets will be required from all guests ages 3 and up. The Admissions and Records Office will send a letter confirming that you will receive 8 tickets and additional Graduation information.  If you did not attend one of the scheduled orientations then you must return your Graduation Card Confirmation by May 19, 2017 to receive you tickets.

 

 

Parking

Parking will be limited. We encourage Graduates and Guests to carpool and arrive early.

Photography

GradImages will provide professional Photography services. Stay tuned for more informaton on when and where you can order your photographs.

 

Faculty

Parking: Faculty and dignataries parking will take place on the Maryal Dr. entrance. Parking spaces are limited; hence, we encourage you to carpool. Visit the Office of Student Life for your VIP parking pass.
Line up:  Faculty line up area will be located by the Main Concession Stand. Your 2017 marshalls will be: TBA. Please check in with our Faculty Welcome Tent for line up instructions.
