Emergency Medical Technician

The EMT-53, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course follows California state mandated curriculum.  The classroom setting and clinical rotations provide opportunities to gain proficiency in the theoretical knowledge and in the application of basic life support skills required to function as an EMT.  Upon completion of course requirements, students earn a Course Completion Certificate, a requirement for EMT certification through the California Emergency Medical Services Agency.
