Fall 2010 Math 200L Sections
Arithmetic of Whole Numbers (Math 200L) does not appear in the PDF schedule or in the printed schedule for the Fall 2010 semester at Hartnell College. Here are the sections of Math 200L that are being offered in the fall:
Sections that meet August 16 through October 7, 2010 (weeks 1 through 8):
|Math 200L – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||2633||M, Tu, W, Th||9:00AM – 9:50AM||C. Jensen||ANX 120|
|Math 200L – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||2634||M, Tu, W, Th||10:00AM – 10:50AM||J. Riley||ANX 120|
|Math 200L – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||2635||M, W||6:00PM – 7:50PM||K. Sashegyi||ANX 120|
Sections that meet October 18 through December 9, 2010 (weeks 10 through 17):
|Math 200L – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||2678||M, Tu, W, Th||9:00AM – 9:50AM||C. Jensen||ANX 120|
|Math 200L – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||2679||M, Tu, W, Th||10:00AM – 10:50AM||J. Riley||ANX 120|
|Math 200L – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||2680||M, W||6:00PM – 7:50PM||K. Sashegyi||ANX 120|
The sections listed above also have online components, bringing the total time commitment to 6 hours a week. The instructor will tell you about that on the first day of class.
There is also one section of Math 200, which is the same as Math 200L except that it is taught as a lecture class. It runs for 4 weeks, from August 16, 2010 through September 9, 2010. That section does appear in the PDF schedule and the printed schedule, but for completeness here is the information on it:
|Math 200 – Arithmetic of Whole Numbers||5194||M, W, F||11:00AM – 11:55PM||S. Sedrak||CAB 267|
The course description for Math 200L says: "Designed for students who need review of, and practice with, basic arithmetic operations. The topics include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, prime factors, common multiples, exponents for whole numbers, and the order of operations. Not open to students who have completed MAT-200 with a grade of "C" or better."
Math 200L and Math 200 are both 1-unit classes. If you were placed into Math 200L, you can meet the requirement by taking either Math 200 or Math 200L. Register for just one of them, not both.
