At Hartnell College , we believe academics are important and we work hard in assisting our students to achieve their goals. We have excellent administrative support and are one of the few community colleges that offer sports counselors for our student athletes. We are proud that our transfer rate to four year schools is approximately 94%. In the past 17 years the panthers have had 9 make All-American, 11 make all northern California and 22 pitchers make all conference. With his All-American Award in 2006, Eric Diaz was named all northern California pitcher of the year.
