Hector Aleman
High School: Seaside HS

Competed 2007 – 2008

Currently Competing for: Southern Oregon University

 


10/03/09 - At the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Oregon, Hector recorded his best performance of his season. Hector placed 72nd in a time of 25:43 for 8km. SOU was the team champion of the Gold Race.

 

9/19/09-Hector competed in his first race for his new school Southern Oregon at the Humboldt Invitational in Arcata, CA. Hector placed 15th overall in 26:45 over the 8km course. Southern Oregon won the men's team title.

 

 

 



 

 

 

 

 

  

Joseph Castro
High School: Salinas HS

Competed 2007 – 2008

Currently Competing for: California State University East Bay



10/02/09 - Joe helped Cal State East Bay to an 8th place team finish at the Desert Twilight Invite. Joe was timed in 16:57 for the 3 mile course.

9/19/09 - Joe was the fifth scoring runner for CSU East Bay at the Westmont Invitational in Santa Barbara, CA. Joe clocked 30:19 for 8km. As a team, CSU East Bay placed 9th.

Beau Rogers
High School: Watsonville HS

Competed 2005 – 2006

Currently Competing for: California State University Chico

10/03/09 - Beau finished as the Cats third runner in a new 8km personal best of 24:33 good for 9th overall in the Cardinal Race at the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Oregon. Chico State was the team winner. For his performance, Beau was named CCAA Athlete of the Week.


9/26/09-Beau placed 31st overall in the Men's 8km competition at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, CA. Beau finished as the Wildcats second runner helping the team to a fourth place team finish.


9/04/09-Beau placed third overall at the Asics/UC Irvine Invitational. Beau's time of 25:12 was an 8km personal best and helped the 3rd ranked Wildcats to the team title.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wazi Aguirre
High School: King City HS

Competed 2003 – 2004

Currently Competing for:  William Jessup University


10/09/09 - Wazi placed 9th overall at the Cal Pac Preview in Redding, CA. Wazi's time of 32:06 helped William Jessup to a runner-up team finish.

 

9/19/09-Wazi placed 50th at the Mills College Invitational in Oakland, CA. His time of 32:13 for 8k helped the William Jessup squad to a sixth place team finish.

9/04/09-Wazi placed 87th at the Sacramento State Hornet Jamboree with a time of 24:20 for 4 miles. William Jessup placed 8th as a team.

10/04/09 - Jose ran a personal best for the half marathon distance at the San Jose Rock and Roll Half Marathon. Jose placed 15th in a time of 1:08:43.

 

         

 

 

Miguel Nuci
High School: Alisal HS

Competed 1998-1999

Competed for: CSU Stanislaus

 

 

10/04/09 - Miguel placed 10th overall at the San Jose Rock and Roll Half Marathon. Miguel was timed in 1:06:44 for 13.1 miles.
