Dominga Arzate
High School: King City HS

Competed 2007 – 2008

Currently Competing for: Warner Pacific College (OR)

 

10/03/09 - Dominga had her best race of the 2009 season at the Charles Bowles Invitational in Salem, Oregon. Minga was timed in 20:26 for the 5km course.

9/19/09-Dominga placed 35th overall at the Cascade Conference Preview held at Doriss Ranch in Springfield, OR. Dominga was the Knights' 3rd runner and helped WPC to a 5th place team finish. As a result of her performance, the top 5 scoring Knights established a new school record.

9/12/09-Racing in her first 6km race for WPC, Dominga placed 35th at the West Coast Preview in Portland. Dominga was timed in 25:58 helping WPC to a 5th place team finish.

 

9/04/09-Dominga placed 12th overall at the Corban College Invite. Running 3km cross country, Minga was timed in 13:40. Warner Pacific placed second as a team to host Corban College.

Competing as a junior, Dominga will look to help the Warner Pacific Knights contend for a Cascade Conference title this fall.

Melissa Perez
High School: Greenfield HS

Competed 2007

Currently Competing for:  Dickinson State University (N.D.)

10/09/09 - Melissa set a personal best for cross country 5k at the Montana State-Billings Invite. Melissa was timed in 21:14 despite snow and freezing temperatures.

 

9/25/09-Competing on her home course at Patterson Lake, Melissa placed 22nd overall at the DSU Invitational. Melissa was timed in 22:49 for the 5k course.

 

9/19/09-Running at the Montana State Invitational in Bozeman, MT, Melissa placed 113th in a very competitive field comprised of Division I, II, and NAIA schools. Melissa clocked 21:48 over the 3 mile course.

 

9/12/09-Melissa placed 31st overall at the South Dakota School of Mins Invitational in Rapid City, South Dakota. Melissa's time of 22:47 despite rain and mud was a 5km cross country personal best and helped the Blue Hawks to a 4th place team finish.


 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alyssa Flores
High School: Salinas HS
Competed 2005 – 2006
Currently Competing for: California State University Chico

10/03/09 - Alyssa posted a new personal best for the cross country 5km distance at the Charles Bowles Invite in Salem, Oregon. Alyssa was timed in 18:20 and placed 26th overall.

9/26/09-Alyssa placed 74th overall at the Stanford Invitational helping the Chico State Wildcats to a fifth place team finish. Alyssa was the sixth scoring Wildcat.

9/12/09-Alyssa opened her season with a 35th place showing at the Asics/UC Irvine Invitational. Alyssa's time of 18:50 was a 5km cross country personal best and helped the national ranked Wildcats to a team with in Irvine.

        







Veronica Paredes

High School: Salinas HS

Competed 2005 – 2006

Currently Competing for: CSU Fresno

 

 

10/02/09-Competing at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Indiana, Veronica posted a lifetime best for 5km. Veronica placed 52nd in 19:03.


9/12/09-Competing in the same race as her former Salinas HS and Hartnell teammate Alyssa Flores, Veronica was 63rd overall in a time of 19:14. As a team, Fresno State placed 11th.

 

9/05/09-Veronica was the Bulldogs 3rd runner at the Nevada Twilight Meet in Reno. Veronica was timed in 16:35 for 4km.
