Kameo Dela Cuadra signs with Mountain State University
The Lady Panthers will be hosting the 1st Annual Spring Tournament on Saturday, March 23rd. The cost is $100 per team, format of pools and playoffs will be determined after all the teams are confirmed. Please contact head coach Jamie Pedroza at jpedroza@hartnell.edu for more information!

Kameo Dela Cuadra  signs with Mountain State University
   

Kameo Dela Cuadra signs with Mountain State University
Kameo Dela Cuadra signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Mountain State University located in Beckley, West Virginia. Mountain State University is a member of the NAIA, and participates in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Kameo came to Hartnell from North Salinas High School. Over the last two years she has been an outstanding team captain and leader for the Lady Panthers. Mountain State Head Coach Holly Mauldine states, “I am really excited for Kameo to join the team next year. After watching her play and talking with her coach, I feel that she is going to play a major role on next year’s team.”

Breanna Warnars and Kirstie Zubiate to play for Mercy College
Breanna Warnars (left) and Kirstie Zubiate (right) recently signed their National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Mercy College located in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Mercy College is a member of the NCAA (Division II) and participates in the East Coast Conference. The two have a long history of playing together. Before playing for Hartnell they played varsity volleyball together at North Monterey County High School. Their new head coach Alan Clements says, “I am really excited about signing Breanna and Kirstie. They are two quality players that will improve our defense, as well as bringing a level of maturity to a very young team. They also have a great knowledge of the game and a super energy level. I can’t wait to see them help us move our program to the next level.”


Rachel Heavin commits  to Notre Dame de Namur University
   

Rachel Heavin commits to Notre Dame de Namur University
Rachel Heavin recently signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for Notre Dame de Namur University located in Belmont, California. Notre Dame is a member of the NCAA (Division II) and participates in the Pacific West Conference. During her time at Hartnell, Rachel has earned many accolades both athletically and academically. She was selected to be on the All-Coast Conference Team (2010, 2011); she earned the Best Offense Award (2010) and the MVP Award (2011). Academically she has been a consistent member of the Presidents List (2010-2012). Rachel has made her mark here at Hartnell College but her bright future is just beginning.


Hannah Larick to  attend Colorado Mesa University on Hoops Scholarship
   

Hannah Larick to attend Colorado Mesa University on Hoops Scholarship
Hannah Larick is headed to Colorado Mesa University (Grad Junction, Colorado) on a basketball scholarship. The University is a member of the NCAA (Division II) and participates in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Hannah is a multitalented athlete and has participated on both the Basketball and Volleyball teams while at Hartnell College. She will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing .
