The Friday Evening Program at the Hartnell Planetarium in March is “Black Holes." Few mysteries in the universe have the power and awe of a black hole. Explore the science of these fascinating objects and learn about the life of Albert Einstein.  A tour of the night sky on the planetarium dome precedes the program. Cost for Friday Evening Programs is $6 General, $4 for Seniors and Military, and all students. "Black Holes" plays at 7pm on April 10, 17, and 24 only. No program on April 3 due to Spring Break.

Payment is at the door by cash or check only. Doors open fifteen minutes before show time. No reservations are accepted so arrive early for the best seats. The planetarium is located on Hartnell’s Main Campus at 411 Central Avenue in Salinas. Parking is available in the three story Parking Structure on Central Avenue. The planetarium is located behind the parking structure opposite the west entrance to the Merrill Hall Science Building. For more information call the Planetarium Hotline at 770-6161.
