Bio

Matthew currently acts as the Vice President of Information and Technology Resources at Hartnell College, overseeing all administrative systems and new technology advancement. Hartnell is a rising star in the California Higher Ed system, recognized for innovative business and science programs and honored to be a recipient of consecutive NASA and NSF grants. Matthew is leading a state-of-the-art Virtualization and Virtual Desktop Integration initiative at Hartnell that will result in optimizing and increasing access to technology to thousands of Hartnell students throughout the Monterey, CA Peninsula. 

Prior to Hartnell Matthew was Director of IS at San Joaquin Delta College, a Kuali Founding Partner, serving 25,000 students and before that a Product Manager and Solutions Architect for SunGard Higher Education based in Philadelphia, PA. Matthew played an active role in the development and introduction and management of multiple key Kuali and SunGard products including the largest market share portal in higher education. Matt joined SunGard following the acquisition of SCT (NASDAQ: SCTC) where he was Senior Director of Product Management responsible for strategic planning and development of collaborative technologies. Prior to SCT, Matt was Senior Director of Infrastructure for Campus Pipeline's portal platform; Exec. VP of Business Development and Co-Founder of iShopper Inc.; Product Manager for TestOut! Computer Certification and Curriculum Development software. Matthew received a BA in English and Philosophy from University of Utah, an MS in Instructional Technology from Utah State University.
