Biology 11- introductory Anatomy and Physiology

Welcome to Introductory Anatomy and Physiology! This course is designed for students going into vocational nursing, and for any students interested in studying the structure and function of the human body. In lecture and laboratory we will get an "up close and personal" view of the various body systems, conduct experiments that illustrate movement through membranes and other internal processes, and practice various measurement processes of body functions such as blood pressure, heart rate and so on. By the end of the semester you will know a lot more about your body- in health and disease- than you did when we started!

Lecture and lab syllabus for Spring 2012
