Elkhorn Slough Field Trip - Directions: Travel north on Rt 1. Pass the smoke stacks in Moss Landing, go over bridge (this is the mouth of the slough). There is a brown sign with binoculars on the right. The Kayak store is on left. Shortly after the Kayak store you will see the entrance to Moss Landing State Beach - turn left into the entrance (Jetty Road). Right after you turn in you will cross a small bridge - park along the road here. Dress warmly and wear appropriate shoes - it may be a bit muddy. Bring the handout - each group will turn in the completed handout today.
