Everyone,
Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised right here in
the Salinas Valley--Soledad to be exact, so many of you who are familiar with
the town may know some of my relatives J. I was the first in my
family to go to college like many of you.
My Bachelor’s and Master’s are both in English. I acquired these at UC Santa
Barbara and San Francisco State University, respectively. I have taught
English for many years to a variety of age levels ranging from the 5th grade
to the University. I made my way back “home,” and I have been at Hartnell for
about 9 years now.
My personal life consists of a husband and a 6 year old son named Zach who is
a bundle of energy. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my
family, cooking, reading, or taking walks.
