METRIC PREFIXES PRACTICE PAGE 1

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Click "Next Question" to begin. If you stop in the middle, you can come back and enter a number in the "Problem #" blank; clicking "Next Question" will take you to the next question.
  2. In the second column, enter the exponent (x in 10x) for the prefix in the first column. In the third column, enter the symbol for the prefix in the first column. (NOTE: use a u for the Greek letter mu, m.)
  3. Click "Check Answers", and "CORRECT!" or "Try Again." will appear in the forth column (check for exponent) and fifth column (check for symbol). If "Try again." appears, change your answer and click "Check Answers" again to see if you've corrected the answer.
  4. If you're stumped, click "hint", and the word used for the prefix will appear (it's a great idea to check that you know this anyway!).
  5. If you're still stumped, click "Show Answers", and the answers will appear.
  6. Click "Next Question" when you've checked and given the correct answers.
