Financial Aid Dates and Deadlines
Hartnell College Title IV Institution Code 001209Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to students who complete their application by March 2nd of each year. The school will review your application and request supplemental documentation and more information if it is necessary to complete your file. You will receive an award letter once the College has received your SAR from the federal government.
The following are important dates to remember:

Cal Grant GPA Verification (postmark) deadline to apply for Cal Grant A, B, or C for the 2012-2013 academic year. Hartnell College priority filing deadline for the 2012-2013 academic year. |
February 13, 2013 |
Census date. Your enrollment on this date will be used to determine your financial aid eligibility. No other adjustments will be made to your aid unless you withdraw from all classes. If your financial aid is processed after census date it will be based on your enrollment at that time. |
April 18, 2013 |
Last day to submit Spring 2013 Financial Aid Appeal form for Spring 2013 disbursement. |
September 2nd of each year |
Secondary deadline for Cal Grant only for community college students. If you have completed at least 24 degree applicable units by the end of the Summer Term, Hartnell College will send your GPA electronically on your behalf. |
