A Light Garden in the Spring

A garden made of sunlight told
Each color from the sunbeam
To add a special touch of gold
That challenges each moonbeam.

The daffodils put on a show
Their bonnets golden yellow.
Forsythias stand in a row
And wave to every fellow.

Around the blend and near white gates
Sit tulips dipped in lemon.
All through the garden color waits
For paint to spring from heaven.
