what kind of medic was I
dear poet

in those days where luck was that
supreme force who told me

much after the fact I swear it is
true summer blue

who might live and who
might die and did they tell you

the silly napalm niece hit those
rich fellas at the country club of Virginia

ain't no VC playing golf
with them blue bloods

and if any slip under our
radar screen

general westmoreland will
make them carry their own

bags by golly jeepers

where did you get that

nine iron

going downtown happy luck

medic medic medic
come up here quick

there is this disease called

nostalgia with trench mouth

come and catch us

sugar meat

downtown superman.
