Welcome to the Office of Instruction !

The Office of Instruction is the hub of the instructional program at Hartnell College. Our staff is here to assist you in accessing services related to our many instructional programs. Hartnell College offers many exciting academic programs including:
  • Associate degrees and transfer to four-year institutions
  • Certificate programs leading to job placement
  • Basic skills courses for those whose backgrounds require additional education in mathematics, reading, writing, or English skills
  • Community Education classes for the general interest of the community

  • The instructional program is divided into a number of academic divisions and units. These include:

    The Learning Skills Center is found with Fine Arts, Language Arts and Social Sciences. Community Education is found in the Workforce and Community Development Center.

    The Office of Instruction has a permanent staff of three. Our permanent staff includes Linda Gutierrez, Lucy Serrano, and Allan M. Hoffman.
