Course requirements:
- All lessons must be completed before the beginning of finals. The exact number of lessons may change from semester to semester, so consult the course syllabus.
- A course log must be kept up-to-date by students, where they record hours they spend on the class. The log is available at the reference desk.

A minimum of 48 hours must be achieved
- A comprehensive final will be administered after all lessons are completed.
- Three conferences with an instructor/librarian are required.
- Supplemental readings and related writing assignments may be required.
