¡Vamonos a España! Boronda Program takes you to Spain!

SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell College Foundation presents the Boronda International Study Program for 2017.  Next summer, the destination is Seville, Spain.  The applications are available in room E-101 or at http://www.harnellfoundation.org.  The deadline is October 28, 2016, by mail or turn application materials to Financial Aid Office in Building B.

The Sylvano and Maria Boronda International Study Program offers a two-week program in a foreign country.  The donor, Lester D. Boronda directed that the recipients be students of unusual promise in the arts, namely, painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, drama, music, or dance. 

This scholarship was established in 1985 taking students to Argentina, Guatemala, Japan, Hungary, Spain, Africa, and other destinations.

To be eligible, the applicant must be at least 18 years of age by May 1, 2017; be a permanent resident in Monterey County since at least January 1, 2016; demonstrate an active interest in at least one of the arts previously mentioned; and be eligible for a passport.
