Transfer Day College Night

Transfer Day, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

College Night, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

“These twin events focus on college transfer and university enrollment,” said Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Romero Jalomo.  “Don't miss out on this opportunity to ask questions and receive information from knowledgeable college and university representatives who can assist you with your transfer and enrollment plans!”

Representatives from CSUs, UCs, privates, and out-of-state will be tabling and anxious to provide valuable information.  Some of the schools attending include: Academy of Art University, Brandman University, CSU Monterey Bay, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Fresno State, Holy Names University, San Jose State University, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, and University of New Mexico.  Last year 54 institutions participated.

This event is not only for the community college transfer population; this year Hartnell is expecting over 500 high school juniors and seniors to visit the campus during Transfer Day, in addition, Gonzales High School will bring a group of 50 students during College Night.

College Night is geared toward promoting the various university programs with high school seniors and their families. This is a great opportunity for them to survey different college options and learn about specific programs and their student support services offered at each campus.
