The Early Support Program (ESP) and the Panther Learning Lab (PLL) were proud to host another Study-A-Thon event for our students getting ready for Spring finals. In addition to being provided with childcare, free printing and meals, EOPS and Student Life provided students with their much-needed finals materials. Attending students also received a variety of academic support ranging from tutoring and supplemental instruction, small study groups, and faculty lead review sessions.

Attending students also got to de-stress by painting mandelas, writing thank you cards to supporting friends, faculty and family, and mixing together essential oils to create combinations of calming, energizing or focus oils provided by our very own Foster Care & Kinship Education program. Students were provided with informative material regarding mental health awareness, had access to counseling services provided by ESP, and even got to take dogs out for a de-stressing walk.
The Study-A-Thon saw over 1,000 students during this week-long event at the Main Campus, King City Education Center, and Alisal campus. The event’s main focus was giving a greater number of students’ exposure to Hartnell's Panther Learning Labs, which will be providing extended hours for students next week during finals. All in all, the entire college was able to come together in support of our students at a time in the semester when they might need it most. We wish our students the best, and more importantly, will continue to provide them with the support they need to finish off their semester on a positive Hartnell note.
