SALINAS, Calif. - Hartnell College Performing Arts is happy to announce a concert with pianists Elena Martin and Jose Meliton on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The Spanish duo will perform using two pianos on the Main Stage, building K at 411 Central Avenue, Salinas, CA. A VIP reception will be offered after the concert in the Hartnell Art Gallery.
These pianists emerged in only a few years as one of the main references within the realm of Spanish two-piano music, thanks to their perfect synchronization and hypnotic poetry. The duo has conquered the most critical audiences in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Martin and Meliton will perform a variety of Spanish music using two pianos including some original compositions by Elena Martin. Critics say their chiseled refinement, fierce commitment, and palpable charisma shows off the magnificent technique which makes them unique.
