SALINAS, Calif. - Hartnell Community College District and its EOPS, CARE, and CalWORKS programs will host their 15th Annual Student Recognition Ceremony tomorrow Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Steinbeck Hall located in Building C (Student Center) at 411 Central Avenue, Salinas, CA.
The lunch and ceremony will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. We have 175 to 200 students and guests taking part in this ceremony to honor and recognize our student success. We are celebrating students who are graduating and those who are transferring into the University of California and California State University systems.
Hartnell is celebrating 125 graduates, 39 honorees, and 32 scholarship recipients. The program will include:
The Hartnell College EOPS/CalWORKS/CARE department is making a difference in the lives of their students by supporting those who have little to no income, lack medical coverage, or even food.¬†The department's borrowed philosophy of, "one band one sound," inspires confidence, motivation, home-work balance, and perseverance.
