There is still time to enroll for Hartnell College fall classes, which begin Monday, August 16, according to Mary Dominguez, director of enrollment services.
With the start of the fall semester, Hartnell begins its 85th year of service to the residents of the Salinas Valley.
Day, evening and Saturday classes will be offered at Hartnell's main campus, located at 411 Central Ave. in Salinas, the college's East Campus, located at 1752 East Alisal St., and the King City Education Center, located at 117 North Second St. in downtown King City.
"We recommend that students register as early as possible to insure they get the classes they want or need," said Dominguez.
Dominguez said students can apply for admission or register for classes in several different ways.
Students can apply and enroll online (www.hartnell.edu) or enroll by phone (831-755-6755) through August 12. Applications for admission may also be mailed, faxed, or hand carried to the Admissions and Records Office. All applications for admissions take two working days to process. After applications are received, registration access is granted for both online and phone service.
Students enrolled in K-12 (concurrent enrollment students) can register in-person on campus on the following dates: Tuesday, August 10, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., last names beginning with S-Z; Wednesday, August 11, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., last names beginning with A-K; Thursday, August 12, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., last names beginning with L-R.
