Hartnell hosts 3rd Annual Robotics Olympics in December

Hartnell’s Rockets and Robotics Club will host the 3rd Annual Robotics Olympics on December 5th. During the event, five local high schools will compete in two competitions involving Parallax Boe-Bot robots at Hartnell College.

The competition occurs on Saturday, December 5th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students from Soledad, King City, Everett Alvarez, North Salinas, and Salinas high schools will face off in robotics competitions in Merrill Hall. From 9 to 11:45 a.m., in room 1, students compete in a Line Following Competition; from noon to 12:30 p.m. they will participate in Wiring Circuits for the Maze Competition, in room 11; and from 1 to 4 p.m. they will compete in the Maze Competition in the Rotarium. The Saturday event is free and open to the public.
