Employee Wage and Benefit Issues Settled Through 2008 at Hartnell College

At a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees at Hartnell College in December the board approved contracts for CSEA employees and unrepresented groups for the periods 2005-06, 2006-07, and 2007-08. The Board already had approved contracts for L39 employees for that period at its regular November meeting and for CTA employees at a special meeting at the end of October.
All employees at Hartnell now have settled wage and benefit issues through 2008.
These settlements include a 3 per cent wage increase and an additional $100 toward health benefits for 2005-06, a 5 per cent wage increase and an additional $100 toward health benefits for 2006-07, and a settlement for 2007-08 to include a wage increase equal to the state-funded COLA and a monthly contribution of $1,300 toward health benefits.
