FYI - For your Information
Confirmations of registration are not mailed.
We contact registrants only if classes are filled, changed, cancelled or if a registration form is incomplete. If you would like confirmation, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your registration fee.
Fees
Hartnell College does not receive state or local tax support for Pathways courses. Fees are charged so that the program can be self-supporting. This includes the cost of this schedule, instructors' fees, supplies, and facilities. Fee payments must be made at the time of registration and may be in the form of cash, check, credit card, or a money order. Please make all checks and money orders payable to Hartnell College. VISA and MasterCard will be accepted. Credit card registrations may be made by phone or fax.
Refunds
Cancellations will be granted a full refund if made at least 48 hours prior to the course start date. Cancellations after this time will receive a full credit toward a future course. Checks are returned and no credit card charges are made if requested classes are already closed. Full refunds are issued if a class is cancelled by the Workforce & Community Development Center. Your refund is paid in the same form as your registration fee was paid. Credit card refunds are processed immediately. Check and cash refunds take 6-8 weeks. If you don't cancel prior to the class and don't attend, you will be charged the entire fee. Courses are cancelled if they do not reach minimum enrollment before the class is held.
Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with any Pathways course, your money will be refunded in full. Please call the Workforce & Community Development Center at 755-6800.
Tax Deduction
Expenses of continuing education (including registration fees, travel, meals, and lodging) taken to maintain and improve professional skills are tax deductible (Treas. Reg. 1.162-5 Coughlin vs. Commissioner, 203 F2d 307).
