Biography
Currently the Senior Program Coordinator for the Benjamin A. Gilman
International Scholarship for undergraduate study abroad. This program is sponsored by
the US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is
administered by the Institute of International Education out of the Southern
Regional Center in Houston, TX. Sarah has worked on the Gilman program for
two and a half years and assists in all aspects of program administration. As
an undergraduate she studied abroad on the School for International Training
program in Yunnan, China and also spent three months serving as a volunteer
English teacher at the Lijiang Ethnic Orphanage School in Lijiang, China. She
received her bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies, Political Science and
History from Minnesota State University, Moorhead.
