Hartnell College shall provide its diverse communities and student population with equal opportunities for educational access and success.

This collaborative Title V grant between Hartnell College, the lead institution, and Gavilan College is to establish Student Access & Success Research Centers at the two Colleges.  The project  identified, key student gateways in the educational process focusing on English language skills, information competency, and computer literacy.  Methods to achieve project goals include: curriculum development; new and improved courses; student learning outcomes; supplemental instruction; expanded tutoring services; learning communities; student learning academies; improved classroom practices; faculty and staff training; improved assessment; improved data collection; and evaluation.
