This a project that will cover year 1 and 2, to better serve our population of underprepared students, English faculty would like access to technology in more classrooms to diversify and enrich our curriculum in order to promote student success.  As many of our Basic Skills students are in the process of learning computer applications and word processing, having computer and internet access available during class would provide a common focal point for learning and applying these skills.  Instructors would be able to demonstrate assignment formatting and use the web to search for course related content, accessing different pathways and learning styles for student engagement.
