Visit this page for news and updates regarding Hartnell's 2018 Commencement/Graduation Ceremony. Please take note the following important information:
Postcards must be sumitted to the Admissions and Records Office (B-121) by Thursday, May 9, 2018 by 6pm at which time you will be given your commencement tickets.
Graduation Regalia (Cap, Gown and Tassle) is required for participating in the ceremony and will be available at the College Bookstore.

2018 Graduate Orientation Presentation
Commencement Ceremony: Friday, May 25, 2018.
Venue: Rabobank Stadium, Salinas Sports Complex; Address: 1034 N. Main Street, Salinas, CA 93906. North Main Entrance Parking Lot . No parking Permits Required.
Time: Commencement will start proptly at 6:00 pm; ALL Graduates must be in line by 5:30 pm (Doors will open at 4:30 pm for Graduates only), and 5:00 pm for Guests.
Commencement Orientation Meeting: May 2, 2018 12:00pm or 3:00 pm Steinbeck Hall, Student Center and May 3, 2018 12 :00 pm or 5:00 pm Office of Student Life C-140 .
WARNING: Due to venue policy: absolutely no stiletto heels will be allowed. Please wear
Doors will open for Graduates at 4:30pm. Please direct yourself to the Graduates Check-In
area. Our volunteers will guide you to the line-up area. Line up will be categorized
by degree. For special accommodations, contact the Office of Student Life (831-755-6734. ALL graduates must be lined up by 5:30pm.
Note: Graduates are required to stay for the entire Graduation Ceremony. Please remain seated in consideration of your fellow graduates. Restrooms are located in the North End of the Stadium.

Cap and Gowns are required for participation on Commencement Ceremony. Contact our Hartnell Bookstore for more information on purchasing your cap, gown, and tassle. Caps' decorations must be flat and tasteful.Guests
Doors will open at 5:00pm for all Guests. No Balloons, conffetti or silly string are allowed in the stands or turf. This is an evening event. Please wear warm clothing.Translation/interpretation
Sign Language and Spanish Interpretation will be provided.Tickets
Tickets will be required from all guests ages 3 and up. The Admissions and Records Office will send a letter confirming that you will receive 8 tickets and additional Graduation information. If you did not attend one of the scheduled orientations then you must return your Graduation Card Confirmation by Thursday May 9, 2018 to receive you tickets.Parking
Parking will be limited. We encourage Graduates and Guests to carpool and arrive early.Photography
GradImages will provide professional Photography services. Stay tuned for more informaton on when and where you can order your photographs.Faculty
Parking: Faculty and dignataries parking will take place on the Maryal Dr. entrance. Parking
spaces are limited; hence, we encourage you to carpool. Visit the Office of Student
Life for your VIP parking pass.
Line up: Faculty line up area will be located by the Main Concession Stand. Your 2018 marshalls will be: TBA. Please locate Faculty check-in for line up instructions.
