Hartnell College continues its popular international dinners for community members on Tuesday evenings this winter and spring.
All meals are served between 5:30 and 6 p.m. in Steinbeck Hall of the College Center at the college’s main campus at 411 Central Avenue in Salinas.
This year’s line-up of delicious dinners is: Italian (Feb. 19); French (Feb. 26); Chinese (March 4); Irish Corned Beef & Cabbage (March 11); Greek (March 25); Filipino (April 1);German (April 8); Louisiana Creole (April 15); Hawaiian (April 29); Japanese (May 6); and American Roast Beef (May 13).
There are no dinners on March 18 when the college is on spring break, and April 22.
The Irish corned beef and cabbage meal will be an especially festive affair to honor St. Patrick, with Irish dancing entertainment provided by the Spirit of Salinas.
These international meals will be served buffet style. The cost of each dinner is $7 for adults and $4.75 for children.
Hartnell College has been offering these community dinners for 25 years.
