Community members are invited to an early St. Patrick's Day dinner that will be held at Hartnell College on Wednesday, March 16.
The event, to be held at 6 p.m. in the College Center, will feature entertainment by the Spirit of Salinas Irish Dancers, directed by Lisa Eisemann.
The dinner itself will include corned beef and cabbage with carrots and potatoes; Irish soda bread; Emerald Isle cake; punch and coffee, according to Molly Lewis, coordinator of international/intercultural education at Hartnell.
Tickets are $7.50 per person and will be available at the door.
The dinner will be prepared by students enrolled in Hartnell's international foods and wine course. Under the supervision of food service mananager Michael Cunnane, the students prepare a weekly buffet throughout the semester, each meal feauring a different cuisine.
