Panther Prep Days in King City and Salinas

SALINAS, Calif. - Hartnell College introduces its first Panther Prep Day starting tomorrow Friday, May 9, 2014 at the King City Education Center located at 117 N. Second St., King City, and continues in Salinas on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the main campus at 411 Central Avenue.

More than 600 Monterey County high school students will receive a college orientation, a first semester education plan, campus tour, financial aid information, priority registration, and more.

Friday May 9 - Panther Prep Day- King City (10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

  • 200 anticipated students and parents
  • This event will serve King City and Greenfield High Schools
  • Workshops include: College Orientation, Educational Plan/Priority Registration, Financial Aid, AB 540/Dreamer Student workshop, Campus Tour, and Lunch
  • Saturday May 10 - Panther Prep Day- Main Campus (8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

  • 600-700 anticipated students and parents
  • This event will serve: Alisal High School, Salinas, High School, North Salinas High School, Monterey County Office of Education, Soledad High School, Gonzales High School, North Monterey County High School
  • Bus transportation will be provided for South County students attending the Main Campus event
  • Workshops include: College Orientation, Educational Plan/Priority Registration, Financial Aid, AB 540/Dreamer Student workshop, Campus Tour, and Lunch
  • Eligible students have:

    1) completed the Hartnell College Application

    2) completed the Hartnell College Assessment

    3) RSVP'd through their high school Counselor.
