ESL Training February 26, 2011 This was a workshop presented by Dennis Johnson at Gavilan College for Gavilan and Hartnell ESL Faculty Development. The ESL Instructors were from the Credit and Non-Credit Programs. One session was on “Lowering the Affective Filter with Game-Like Activities”, and the other session was on “Maximizing Student-Student Interaction in the ESL Classroom”. |

November, 2010 Annual Report Met with Gavilan to close the end of the year books and write the report. EoD was not ready to allow us into the reporting web site. Met again in March 2011 to complete year 3 Annual Report. |

Met with Gavilan to demonstrate research tools and data collection. Work is happening between the two campuses to share the base code for the tools even though one campus is on DataTel and the other is on Banner. |
