Classified Employees Scholarship Fund

$500 Scholarship

Have you ever found yourself in a position that prevents you from enrolling in that class you have always wanted to take? The Classified Senate can help you!
One Five Hundred Dollar ($500) scholarship will be available to classified staff for the Fall 2008 semester. Here's how you can apply:

To be eligible, applicants must be:
  • Current, permanent, classified employees with at least one year of service with Hartnell College.
  • In good academic standing.

Requirements :
  • Comply with scholarship deadlines for submission.
  • Completed application - applications are available from the Scholarship Office (C160 or 755-6811).
  • Transcripts
  • Two letters of recommendation from any source.
  • Letter stating financial need, educational goals, and career objective.

Notification and disbursement will follow Scholarship Office guidelines. If you have any questions about applying for these scholarships, you are encouraged to call Tammy Sharp de Avalos at extension 6177.
