Music and Movement

Come learn how music and movement helps you bond with your child and

SB500 Training 2009 -- 2010

pre-service licensing requirement for prospective resource families (foster and
adoptive parents). Issues involving the court process, concurrent planning, family
to family care, and behavior management will be explored.

Se ofrece 18 horas de entrenamiento para parientes ó para el cuidador que es un pariente sercano. Cada sesión sera de 3 horas y todas las sesiónes estarán disponibles hasta nuevo aviso. Puede empezar con la sesión 2 y luego tomar la sesión 1, ó tomar todas las 6 sesiónes en serie.

El entrenamiento se llevará acabo en la Escuela de Adultos de Salinas los siguientes viernes:

(Successfully Parenting At Risk Kids)

These 4 three-hour sessions offer instruction regarding specialized needs of caring for
children born drug-exposed or with drug/alcohol issues in their family of origin.
Class meets in-service state license requirements for foster and adoptive caregivers.

Coffee Connection -

A social networking and educational training held throughout the year for caregivers and county staff. Topics for these trainings are discussed by the caregivers prior each training.

These trainings will be held on the following dates in Salinas:

All of the above trainings will be held at the Quadrangle, 1000 S. Main Street, Room 110. The time is
10:00 - 12:00. Childcare will be provided and Spanish translation available.
