Faculty/Staff Resource Center

The library houses the Faculty/Staff Resource Center to provide faculty access to computers, software, a scanner, copy machine, additional technology and trained support staff.

Class Instruction

The librarians in the Reference Department can provide instruction for your classes on using library materials, the online catalog, electronic and databases, internet research and on developing information research strategies useful in your subject area.

General group tours can provide your whole class with an overview of our resources and services. Special emphasis on material for the course can also be provided.

Some of the electronic databases instruction can focus on include:
  • EBSCOhost MasterFILE Premier
  • MOBAC Regional Catalog
  • How to locate resources through the Internet


  • To schedule a library instructional session, or for further information, contact the Reference Department at extension 6078. Please make arrangements at least one week in advance.

    How the Reference Department Can Assist You and Your Students

    The Reference Librarians can provide
    Printed materials, including bibliographies, instructional handouts, and pathfinders relevant to your subject areas.


    We want to effectively support your course objectives with our library resources.

    What We Ask of You

    Space and computers are limited. Before bringing a class into the library to work on assignments or do research, check with the Student Services Librarian (x6064) or the Reference Librarian on duty.
