Hartnell College, Others Plan Groundbreaking for Construction of Home for
Low-Income Family

Where: 2106 Soto Place, Salinas
Why: Groundbreaking ceremony by Hartnell College, the City of Salinas, and the Community Housing Improvement Systems and Planning Association (CHISPA) - a non-profit community-based housing development organization - for the construction of a single family home for a low-income family. Also in attendance will be manufacturers of various construction materials and local subcontractors who will be contributing materials and expertise to this project. The home will be built by students of a Hartnell construction class with the assistance of local subcontractors.
