Native American Dance Program Planned at Hartnell College

Native American dance groups will present a cultural intertribal program
at Hartnell College on Saturday, Nov. 13, during a daylong program.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the College Center's
Steinbeck Hall. It is free and open to the public.

Featured will be Patrick Orozco and the Pajara Valley Ohlone Dancers, the
White Hawk Azteca Dancers, the San Jose Youth Group Fancy Dancers, and the
Santa Clara Valley Indian Health Center's Singers and Drum Group.

Representatives of the Santa Clara Valley Indian Health Center will
survey attendees about a possible Native American health care center in Salinas.

The event is sponsored by a campus club called Honoring Indigenous
Intertibal Peoples and the college's Center for International/Intercultural
