The Supervisory Academy at Hartnell College

The Supervisory Academy at Hartnell College consists

of twelvetraining modules. Training focuses on interpersonal

communications, team building, productivity, conflict

management, and employee motivation. Participants will

gain valuable information to enhance their supervisory skills,

making them more effective at their jobs.

The Academy is designed to provide instruction and

training for the first-line supervisor and employee being

considered and developed for the supervisory role.

Participants may take one or all of the modules for a

certificate of completion.

Our instructors use a combination of techniques to help

you acquire knowledge in the most efficient and effective

manner. We employ learning strategies which are targeted

specifically for the adult learner including hands-on

applications and exercises, small group problem

solving and interactive role play.
