Re-Entry Center

The Hartnell College Phoenix program is designed to assist adults 25 years of age and older who are new to college or who have had a break in their formal education.

If you answer "yes" to any one of the following questions, you may find our program or services very helpful:
  • Have you been thinking about entering or re-entering college but are unsure of how to get started?
  • Do you want to change careers and need information about options?
  • Do you want to know the requirements for completing a specific career goal?
  • Do you want to explore your interests as they relate to careers?
  • Do you want to connect with other Phoenix program students?
  • Do you have children and an interest in a co-op child care?


  • Program highlights:
  • Orientation in August and late September to ease the entry into HARTNELL.
  • On campus and online discussion groups for Phoenix program students.
  • Opportunity to establish relationships with other Phoenix program students.
  • Workshops on topics of interest to Phoenix program students (as interests arise).
  • Career counseling. Assistance with resume and interview skills.
  • Career assessments to identify careers that fit your interests and personality.
  • Referrals to campus programs and community services as needed.
