International Community Dinners Offered at Hartnell College
Hartnell hosts Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2008 Candidate Forum

The public is invited to attend a candidates’ forum on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. in room 125 of Hartnell College’s Performing Arts Center. The forum is a project of the Governmental Review Council of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, and is hosted by the Political Science Club of Hartnell College.

The Forum is designed to give voters an opportunity to hear from candidates running for local office on the November ballot. Candidates for contested City Council seats, judgeships, state assembly (27th District), and representatives to the 17th congressional district, as well as groups taking sides on Measure Z, will be in attendance to discuss issues of interest to residents and the business community.

The free public event is anticipated to last from 5:30 until approximately 8 p.m.
