In the light of the growing concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID19),  Monterey County has issued a Shelter-in-Place order effective March 18, 2020.  Hartnell College is committed to continue to serve our students and the community. Due to the statewide shelter-in-place order, the option to pick-up transcripts is currently unavailable, all transcript requests will be delivered through U.S. mail.  Rush delivery is also currenlty unavailable until further notice.

Official Transcript Requests

Hartnell is pleased to announce the availability of a new online Transcript Ordering Service.  Transcript Ordering is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse.  

Transcript Ordering allows you to order official transcripts online at any time day or night.

You can order as many transcripts as you like in one online session using any major credit card.

Real‐ time email and mobile text alerts keep you up‐to‐date on the status of your order.

You can also track your order on the Transcript Ordering Web site.

IGETC/ CSU General Education Certification

IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) and CSU General Education certification verifies that a student has completed all lower division general education requirements for the UC or CSU. The IGETC can be used for UC and CSU. The CSU Certification is for CSU only. Certification is reported on your official transcript.  Please complete the transcript request form and submit to the Admissions and Records Office.       Note: Average processing time is 4-6 weeks, Rush service is not available to certify an IGETC or GE Certification. 

Grades and Unofficial Transcripts  

Grades and Unofficial transcripts may be obtained by using  PAWS for Students . This free service is available for students who attended Hartnell College from 2000 to the present.
