Official Transcript Requests

Transcript Ordering is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse.  Transcript Ordering allows you to order official transcripts online at any time day or night.  You can order as many transcripts as you like in one online session using any major credit card.  Real‐ time email and mobile text alerts keep you up‐to‐date on the status of your order.  You can also track your order on the Transcript Ordering Web site

Official Transcripts

Institutions eligible for electronic transcript delivery

During the Transcript Ordering through the National Student Clearinghouse, when asked, "How do you want your transcript sent" please select "mailed". Our system will automatically send your transcript electronically as long as your institution is listed below.

If your institution is not listed, transcripts will be sent out by mail.

Hartnell College can send electronic transcripts to all California Community Colleges.

IGETC/ CSU General Education Certification

IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) and CSU General Education certification verifies that a student has completed all lower division general education requirements for the UC or CSU. The IGETC can be used for UC and CSU. The CSU Certification is for CSU only. Certification is reported on your official transcript.  Please complete the IGETC/CSUGE Certification Request Form and submit to the Admissions and Records Office.       Note: Average processing time is 2 - 4 weeks, Rush service is not available to certify an IGETC or GE Certification.

Grades and Unofficial Transcripts  

Grades and Unofficial transcripts may be obtained by logging into your My Hartnell portal and logging into PAWS Self Serve . This free service is available for current students and recent alumni. 

Office Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm,  Friday 8am - 1pm.

Click on the official transcript button above. You will be redirected to the National Student Clearinghouse. Fill out your information and pay the required fees.

The RUSH transcript request will be processed within one working day of receipt. All transcripts are delivered through the regular U.S... Postal Service. We do not offer an overnight mail delivery service.

The requests will be processed within one working day of receipt. A valid photo I.D. is required at the time of pick up. The transcript will be ready to pick up after 12 pm the following working day of receiving the Rush Service Request. The transcript may be picked up at the Admissions & Records Office located inside the Student Services Building B on the Main Campus. The office is open Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Contact us at (831) 755-6711 or admissions@hartnell.edu.

Allow up to 15 business days for your transcript to be processed.

RUSH transcripts are processed throughout the year, except :

  • 2 weeks before & the first 3 weeks of the start of the Fall semester
  • Last week of the Fall semester thru the first 3 weeks of the start of the Spring semester.
  • Last week of the Spring semester thru the first 2 weeks of the start of the Summer term.
