This Spring 2022 semester we are launching a new way to add students into classes: Add Authorizations

As of the first day of the class, regardless of whether the class is open or closed, you must get permission from the instructor to add the class .  Please email the instructor to express your interest in adding the class. 

Necessary details to include in the email to the instructor: 
  • full name: first and last
  • seven digit student ID number
  • course name and section number

Based on the availability of seats in the class, the instructor will grant the student permission to add the class.  After the instructor has granted permission to the student, the student must complete the add by logging on to PAWS Self Serve.

There are computers in the Building B Lobby area that are available for your usage. Enrollment Ambassadors are also available to assist you in the registration add/drop process.

 

Full Semester Courses: 

Students must attend the first week of the class and obtain a 4-digit add code from the instructor.  The deadline to a add a full semester course is the Saturday of the 2nd week of the semester. There are no exceptions beyond this deadline.

 

Late/Short Courses: 

Students must attend the first day of class and obtain a 4-digit add code from the instructor.  The add code must be processed online using PAWS for Students by the 2nd class meeting.  

 

Summer Session Courses: 

Summer session course may not be added after the published add/registration deadline which can be found in the schedule of classes and the Student Summer Session Calendar.

 

 

Drops

Dropping is not an automatic process. Students who are not present at the first class meeting may be dropped by the instructor as a "no show". However, it is the student's responsibility to drop any classes in which he/she is not planning to attend. Failure to do so may result in an "F" grade.  Please follow this link to view the Attendance Policy

Students may drop a class by using PAWS for Students or Self-Serve Student Planner.

 

 

Admissions and Records Registration Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am – 6pm , Friday 8am - 1pm. 

PAWS available 24 hours a day

Add and drop dates are published in the Schedule of Classes and are available on the Student Semester Calendar.

ADD/DROP Week 1: Janaury 24 - 28  

Monday & Tuesday: 8:00am - 6:30pm                                              Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00am - 6:00pm                                      Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

ADD/DROP Week 2: Janaury 31 - February 4  

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 6:00pm                                              Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm     

 

Regular Office Hours will resume beginning February 7, 2022

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm   Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
