Dr. Jowel Laguerre (Chair) A native of Haiti, Dr. Laguerre became Superintendent-President of Solano Community College District on July 1, 2009. Previously, he was the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) in Reno Nevada, after having served as Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Services at Montgomery College (Maryland). He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership for college and university administration, a Master's of Science in Education in School Administration and a Master's of Arts in French Literature from the University of Kansas, and a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics Education from L'Universited'Etat d'Haiti: Ecole Normale Superieure, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Dr. Laguerre founded Teachers of Tomorrow to recruit young people into the teaching profession in response to the shortage of minority teachers. He was Director of the I HAVE A DREAM program in Kansas City, Missouri, and was instrumental in approving and supporting Solano Community College's UMOJA program, which caters to African-American students. |

Ms. Ferdinanda Florence (Assistant) Ferdinanda Florence is a professor of Art History at Solano Community College in Fairfield, CA. In her 11 years at the college, she has acted in various capacities, in addition to teaching: she has served on the Academic Senate; organized and chaired the Study Abroad/Travel Study committee; and worked on the Organization Team of the Solano College Faculty Association. She currently serves on the Distance Education committee. As Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator, she also assists faculty in completing SLO and PLO assessments, Curriculum Review, and associate degrees for transfer (TMC). Ferdinanda has a Master's degree in art history and a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting. Her textbook, Art Appreciation, will be published this year by Cognella, and she is represented by the Andrea Schwartz Gallery in San Francisco. |

Dr. Sharon Adams Dr. Sharon Adams is currently serving as the Dean of Student Services at Sierra College in Rocklin, California. Prior to this post, she served as the Dean of Learning Support Services at Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California. She has over 18 years of experience in Student Services within the California Community College System. Her specific areas of expertise and interests are implementing interventions to assist students on probation and developing creative ways to deliver services to students with the use of technology. She holds a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and a Masters degree in Counseling. |

Mr. Steven Crow Steve Crow serves as Vice President of Business and Financial Affairs at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California and previously served as Vice President of Administrative and Information Services for College of the Siskiyous for 10 years. He currently serves on the ACCCA (Association of California Community Colleges Administrators) board representing Chief Business Officers. He also serves on the Technology and Telecommunication Advisory Committee and the Facilities Task Force to the System's office. He is completing his dissertation this year at UC Davis in the Educational Leadership doctoral program and has a Master's in Education from Northern Arizona University, a Bachelors of Business Administration from Prescott College, and a Computer Information Systems degree from Yavapai College. He has taught as an adjunct instructor at two community colleges, Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona, Klamath Community College in Klamath Falls Oregon, and a private four-year college, Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona and Southern Oregon University in the MBA program. Steve has served on three accreditation teams. He believes that improvements to our community college system should be data driven but always student centered. |

Ms. Virginia Findley Virginia Findley holds multiple degrees from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo: a BS degree
in Social Sciences; a Secondary Teaching Credential; and an MS degree in Computer

Dr. Marlon Hall Dr. Marlon Hall currently serves as the Superintendent/President at Lassen Community College in Susanville. He has earned six college degrees: AA in Journalism from West Hills College Coaling; BA in Biblical Studies from West Coast Christian College; BA in Journalism from California State University-Fresno; MA in Education Administration and Supervision from California State University-Fresno; MA in Education with emphasis in Reading and English as a Second Language from Fresno Pacific; and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Change from the Fielding Graduate University. During his time as a college student, Dr. Hall earned letters in track at West Hills College Coalinga and basketball from West Coast Christian College. After his senior year at West Coast Christian College, he was selected to tour the Philippines with the Sports Ambassadors Venture for Victory basketball tour in the summer of 1981. As an educator, he has served as a middle school teacher, high school English teacher, varsity basketball coach, adult school teacher, community college faculty member, college basketball coach, dean and Chief Student Services Officer. |

Ms. Susan Lamb Susan Lamb has been the Vice President of Instruction at Diablo Valley College for six years. She has over twenty-five years in the community college system beginning her career at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. In California, she started at Contra Costa College as a teaching faculty member, Faculty Senate President, and eventually serving as the Dean of Library, Allied Health, Vocational Training, and Athletics. Ms. Lamb received both her B.S and M.Ed. from Texas State University in San Marcus, Texas, and has completed all but her dissertation toward her Ed.D. At Diablo Valley College, she is the college's ALO and is responsible for the college's staff development, articulation, CTE, economic and workforce development, contract and community education, and instructional programs. |

Dr. Bobbi Villalobos Dr. Bobbi Villalobos recently became the Dean of Academic Affairs at Los Angeles Harbor College. For the past four years, she served as the dean of Student Success at Long Beach City College. She has served as the co-chair of the Student Success Committee and the College Promise Post-Secondary Success Committee, and was recently as a member of the Educational Master Plan Oversight Taskforce. Dr. Villalobos came to LBCC in 2005 as the dean of the School of Language Arts. Previously she was the associate dean and interim dean of Humanities at El Camino College, where she worked closely with faculty in developing a learning communities program, served as the academic administrator for the First Year Experience program, and chaired the Planning and Budgeting Committee. Dr. Villalobos has focused her studies and career in developmental education and student success programs. She has been a member of the National Association for Developmental Education for more than 15 years and is past president of the Southwestern Association of Developmental Education. |

Dr. Daniel Walden Dr. Dan Walden is currently serving as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Los Angeles City College (LACC) with a diverse background in teaching, research, and administration. He has a PHD in Education with a focus in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University. He has many years of direct administrative experience, as a dean of academic affairs, dean of institutional effectiveness, and vice president of academic affairs. In addition, he has served as the administrator charged with facilitating campus planning (including program review), facilitating the SLO process, and overseeing the Office of Institutional Research. He completed college courses in five degree programs specifically focusing on ethnic and culture diversity and has worked with academic programs over the past twelve years to improve effectiveness in serving under-prepared students coming from socio-economically depressed areas. For the past five years, he has served as a college Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO). His visit to Hartnell will be his fifth team visit for ACCJC. |

Dr. Lynn Wright Lynn Marie Wright, PhD, is a professor of English at Pasadena City College (PCC). Currently, she serves as the activity director for a Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) grant designed to increase the number of under-represented students successfully pursuing degrees and careers in STEM fields. This position complements her leadership and related research and practice over the last 12 years in award-winning innovative curriculum design and program development. While director of 3CSN (California Community Colleges' Success Network - the professional development component of the Basic Skills Initiative), the RP Group conferred the 2012 "Excellence in Research - Regional/Statewide Project" award for the Basic Skills Tracker Tool. As co-director of PCC's Teaching and Learning Center, programs developed at the center received three awards: the Chancellor's Student Success Award for the First-Year Experience Pathways program, the national Community College FUTURES Assembly's Bellwether Award for the Math Jam program, and the Excelencia in Education Award, also for Math Jam. Lynn was the accreditation self-study editor for her college in 2009 and served on accreditation site visit teams in 2010 and 2012. |
