Hartnell prepares to again welcome Italian musician Francesco Attesti for teaching and performances on Feb. 19-21. This year, Attesti will perform with the AB&C Trio – with bassist Maurizio Bozzi and percussionist Maicol Cucchi, presenting a free concert for the community at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 in the Mainstage Theater of the Center for Performing Arts (Building K).
This will be the seventh time Attesti, a pianist of international acclaim, has visited and performed at Hartnell. His fellow performers are also from Italy. Bozzi has been playing electric and double bass since 1971, playing in tours and recording studios with many Italian pop stars. Cucchi has performed for important orchestras, jazz ensembles and festivals and collaborated with many singers and jazz musicians.
Tickets to the free performance are available for pickup at the Center for Performing Arts box office, open 5-8 p.m. Monday-Wednesday. Walk-ins are welcomed on the day of the event.
