How to create and customize your Hartnell email signature:

1. Open Gmail.

2. Click the gear in the top right.

3. Select Settings.

4. Scroll down to the "Signature" section and paste (ctl-v) the following signature template (if there is an existing signature, replace it fully with this new template) into the Signature window.

5. Edit your name, title, department, phone and email address by highlighting the sample copy and updating the information with your correct information. In order to maintain proper formatting and links, highlight all of the sample copy you are editing, but nothing additional (e.g. if you highlight the trailing space, the formatting will not be correct).

6. Highlight IMAGE 1 and then select the image icon above, then select Web Address (URL) and copy the following URL into the text box and hit Select.

7. Highlight IMAGE 2 and then select the image icon above, then select Web Address (URL) and copy the following URL into the text box and hit Select.

8. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Your new Hartnell email signature will now appear in all your outgoing emails.
