Hartnell College supports student health and success through a variety of food access programs and resources. Whether you're looking for a meal, snacks between classes, or fresh groceries to take home, there are options available.

Vending Machines

For students looking for convenient, on-the-go options, vending machines are available at all campuses. At the Soledad Education Center, students will also find vending options that include cold sandwiches and microwavable meals.

Grab-and-Go Snacks and Coffee

At all campuses, students can enjoy free snacks and coffee through Basic Needs services and campus support. At King City and Soledad Education Centers, individually wrapped snacks such as granola bars, oatmeal, and trail mix are regularly available. The Hartnell College Alisal campus offers coffee and light breakfast items like donuts, bagels, and granola bars, supported by the Dean. Free coffee is also available to all students at the King City Education Center.

Pop-Up Food Pantry

Bi-weekly pop-up food pantry events are held at Main Campus, King City Education Center, Soledad Education Center, and Castroville Education Center. These events provide enrolled students with free groceries and basic food items. While this service is not currently available at the Alisal Campus, students at that location still have access to other support options.

The Grille Catering

Hartnell College departments, programs, and external partners can request catering services when booking on-site meetings and events.
