The Hartnell College Computer & Business Lab supports student success by providing technology and an inclusive learning environment for all students, especially those enrolled in Computer Science, Business, and Information Technology classes.
Our mission is to empower students through access to industry-relevant tools, guided support, and opportunities to build digital and professional skills for today’s workforce.
Lab Resources
Students have access to the following lab tools, services, and support options.
Course Access
Students can enroll in a variety of Self-Paced, Hybrid, and Instructor-Led business courses, including BUS100, BUS110A, BUS100B, BUS111A, BUS136, BUS140A, BUS140B, BUS172, BUS200, BUS210, BUS600, BUS605, and BUS610.
Collaborative Workspaces
Students can use shared areas designed for teamwork, group study, and project collaboration.
Printing & Scanning
Printing and scanning services are available to support academic and project needs.
Software and Tools
Lab computers come fully equipped with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Cloud applications to support coursework and projects.
Bilingual Support
Spanish-speaking staff are available to assist students who prefer or require bilingual communication.
Tutoring & Technical Support
Knowledgeable lab staff, including four lab instructors and three lab assistants, are available to provide tutoring, guidance, and technical help for students.
Quiet Room
A designated quiet room contains multiple computers optimized for focused, distraction-free work.

The Computer & Business Lab welcomes all students! Whether you’re developing a business
plan, learning a new programming language, or completing class assignments, our friendly
staff are available for all your needs. Stop by to explore, learn, and grow!
Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. & 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. & 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
